The first written evidence of Prophets is found in the Old Testament. The Prophets were men who saw the future of the Hebrew nation and spoke messages from God against immorality and wickedness. There are many references in the Bible about other nations having prophets such as the Canaanites who worshipped the god Baal. These prophets worked themselves into a right frenzy and performed sexual acts to entice the gods to bring fertility to the land! Prophets of old including soothsayers and seers though were very different to modern day prophets. Today we call such prophets Mediums or Clairvoyants, Psychics or Palmists.
The word Prophesy has come to mean a revelation of future events. ‘Readers’, as we now tend to term prophets, use a variety of means. In the Old Testament, the witches and soothsayers used bones as they still do in divination rites for ju-ju rites in Africa. The Nordic religions used runes, which are still used by some readers today. Tarot cards were introduced around the 13th Century and Crystal gazing became fashionable in the Victorian era. The Romany use of tea leaves is actually quite modern in comparison.
The truth is that whatever aide a readers uses, the true clarity (from where we get the derivative clairvoyant incidentally) that a reader has depends on a number of factors. Some readers have guides, other readers have angels. Some are clairaudient (they hear messages), others are clairsentient (they feel spiritual things). Many folk claim to be psychic, or to have psychic moments. In fact we all appear to be born with certain intuition or psychic abilities. For some though these abilities are highly developed.
All our readers are prophets in the sense that they foretell the future. Each one is very different but they all come to the same answers to life’s burning questions using different techniques. Give them a call now and find out the answers to questions about your life!
Understanding our dreams can open the door to our mind and help us to make more sense of our lives …
Every night whilst you sleep, you dream. Your dreams are the boundary between your subconscious mind and your conscious waking state, and by the time morning arrives you may be dreaming for about 30 minutes at a time right until you wake up. So throughout the night you will have been dreaming for more than an hour and a half!
Your dreams express what is happening to you in your physical body. They are a movie that shows in the cinema of your mind and a way of expressing and resolving what is happening in your subconscious mind. Science has shown that without dreaming you quickly breakdown in both mind and body.
Through your dreams you access a massive library of insight and information from your subconscious mind and the collective consciousness of humanity. Your dreams can be a source for premonitions, spiritual contact and guidance. They are also a means by which you can solve problems.
This insight is invaluable and can help us to lead happier, richer, more balanced lives especially if we are able to remember and interpret our dreams. But that seems so difficult, how can we remember our dreams in order to use that information to guide our lives?
To help you remember your dreams try the following method. When you go to bed place an alarm clock close enough to you to enable you to turn it off with your eyes still closed. Set it to go off about an hour earlier than you would normally get up. Keep a Dream Diary – just a pad and a pen next to the bed would be fine. Make sure you record any food and drink you consume before going to bed, and any significant event which occurred during that day. When you go to bed use the power of suggestion. Tell yourself firmly that you will be able to recall your dreams when you wake.
When the alarm wakes you in the morning keep your eyes closed for the time being – the moment you open them your dreams will have the annoying habit of evaporating. Lay still and try to recall as much of your dream as possible. Go over it several times. In this way, more and more of the dream will come to mind. When you are satisfied that you have recalled as much as possible of your dream write it down in your dream diary in as much detail as you can manage – don’t forget to include the date and time!
Then try to distract your mind for a few minutes – try a crossword or sudoku. Finally try to get into the habit of going back to sleep until your usual getting up time.
This procedure may seem rather strange but if you wish to induce a lucid dream at a later date it is important to learn to waken, memorise your dream and then go back to sleep. If you don’t want to disturb your sleeping pattern in such a radical way just keep the alarm set at your usual waking time but follow the same procedure in trying to recall and record you dreams. If you follow this routine you will be surprised how quickly you’ll develop a capacity for remembering your dreams. Sleep tight!
Angels are beings of light who have chosen to undertake their learning purely on the spiritual plane. They normally take the physical image of winged messengers, however they can appear in other forms to suit the needs of the person they desire to help.
Archangels Michael and Gabriel are a special category of Angelic being and are responsible for issues concerning the human race as a whole. There are nine orders of Angels, the highest are known as Seraphim and the lowest we know as Angels.
Here is a story which may help you, the writer is anonymous but it could be you or me if we believe enough.
One day I was walking in the park and there, barefoot and dirty, sat a little girl just watching the people go by. She didn’t try to speak or say a word to anyone. Many people passed, but nobody ever stopped.
I was curious about this little girl so the next day I decided to go back to the park, curious to see if she would still be there. And there she was, in the same spot as the day before, perched high in a tree, with the saddest look in her eyes that I had ever seen.
The next day I determined to walk over to the little girl and ask her what she was doing. As we all know a park full of strange people is not a place for young children to be alone. As I got closer I could see from the back of the little girl's dress that she had a deformity. I assumed that this was the reason people just passed by and made no effort to talk to her.
When I got nearer, the little girl slightly lowered her eyes to avoid my stare. I was able to see the shape of her back more clearly. It was grotesquely shaped in a humped-over form. I smiled to let her know everything was OK – I was there to help, to talk.
I sat down beside her and spoke a simple Hello. The little girl seemed shocked and stammered a hello in return but only after she had stared into my eyes for some time. I smiled and she shyly smiled back. We talked quietly until darkness fell and the park became completely empty apart from us – we were alone.
I finally asked the little girl the question I longed to ask – why was she so sad? She looked at me and with a sad face and said "Because I'm different." I immediately said "You certainly are!" and smiled. If anything this seemed to make her even sadder and she agreed with me "I know" she replied.
"Little girl," I said, "you remind me of an angel – sweet and innocent." She looked at me and smiled. Slowly she rose and stood up, "Really?" she asked. "Yes, you're like a little guardian angel sent to watch over all the people walking by."
She nodded her head yes and smiled, and with that she spread her wings and said with a twinkle in her eye "I am. I'm your guardian angel." I was speechless – sure I was seeing things.
She said, "For once you thought of someone other than yourself, my job here is done." Immediately I stood up and said, "Wait, so why did no one stop to help an angel?" She looked at me and smiled, "You're the only one who could see me, and you believe in me in your heart." And She was gone.
And from that day my life was changed dramatically. So, when you think you are all you have, remember, your angel is always watching over you.
